Life on the farm moves with the seasons, and there is rarely a quiet moment, which is just how we like it.

Who are we?

Hiscocks Farm is a working farm in Sturminster Newton, North Dorset, on the edge of the Blackmore Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We keep a small flock of rare-breed Dorset Down sheep and grow as much food for our table as we can, all managed under an SFI-supported approach to soil, hedgerow and habitat. Everything here sits alongside this working land, not instead of it. Farming here is done the long way: slowly, seasonally, with the animals and the ground taking priority over the calendar. We’re in no rush.
