The Long Table
One bench, thirty seats and a fire outside the door.
Supper on the farm
From December we’re lighting the fire and laying one long table in the barn. Thirty guests, a resident chef and a menu built around our own Dorset Down lamb and whatever the farm has that month, with wines chosen and introduced by Wine Behind the Label.
Arrive from 6.30pm for hot cider by the firepits. At 7pm we sit down together for small plates, then the fire course: lamb or hogget carved at the table with sharing sides, and pudding to finish. Afterwards the bar stays open and the fire stays lit.
£85 for supper. £40 for the wine pairing, if you’d like it.
